Could not find anything on here but 44932 was pretty much on time when it passed through Selby last night. According to a report she thrashed Hunmanby Bank with 13 on.
A video clip in the fading light is below and big thanks go to Mark Walker for on train timing updates.

Looked and sounded pretty good when I saw it just south of Beverley then again at Welton last night.

Here's a picture, the best I could manage with a low sun and rapidly lengthening shadows

Unfortunately the light faded rapidly at Welton just before it arrived so couldn't manage a reasonable photo

Excellent day out yesterday. 44932 was easily master of its task admittedly with dry rails. The sun shone for the organisers and the crowds came out to ride and to view. A level hour from the water stop at Anlaby Road Jct in Hull back to York via Hambleton start to stop. How far is that? With the slow through Selby, that felt like quite smart running. With 44932 en route to Carnforth today, that performance makes me think 45305 might be in line for at least some of the Stanhope, Wensleydale and Hadrian runs vice 70013.

The performance up Hunmanby bank was particularly good,it just seemed to walk away with 13 on the back on the steepest bit which is off the platform end!

Nice vid Ben,fantastic lighting on the the second shot.

My vid from on board is now on at : 44932 The Scarborough Spa Special 19/09/2012 - YouTube

Starts with the brilliant climb of Hunmanby bank up to Speeton, the first 5 minutes been the best bit with 44932 maxing about 10mph on the 1 in 80.

    Cheers,
    Mark

Excellent shots Mark and Alan, I hope you don't get criticised for 14 minutes of nothing but the passing scenery as I sometimes do!

That did not seem to make a difference to the person who compained about mine, but I think he only does stills so sound never figures in his appreciation.

thanks for the comment Mark, was lucky with the light, a huge black cloud was over the scene for ages, moved very slowly, just cleared at the right time.
