Join us at Market Bosworth Station on the Battlefield Line Railway for a weekend of live miniature steam action.

Building on the success of the 2013 event this year we bring you even more! Experience the sight of 30 plus miniature traction engines in steam, most of which will be running around freely on the old Goods Yard.

Examples of engines from all walks of traction engine life including Crane Engine, Ploughing Engine, Steam Lorry and of course Agriculturals, Road Engines and the beautiful Showmans Engines

Why not have a chat with their owners and find out more about the histories of these fabulous scale models, most of which were built from scratch by their drivers!
The Goods Yard will also play host to a 5" gauge miniature railway which will be offering train rides throughout the weekend (small extra charge applies), no doubt being occasionally dwarfed by its bigger brothers on the Battlefield Line, which comes through right next door!
Inside the Goods Shed we will be welcoming displays which showcase even the smallest of traction engines: the Toy Steamers. These colourful engines are collectors items and will be on show alongside selected local Model Engineering Society stands and other pieces of related interest.

Out and About the Market Bosworth Yard...
    • 5" gauge Miniature Ride on Railway (small extra charge)
    • Visiting Organs
    • Miniature Working Area where we will be demonstrating miniature wood sawing, flour milling and a miniature threshing drum too
    • Engine Line up and BIG WHISTLE 2pm each day (Everything with a whistle WILL whistle!!)
    • If you're lucky you may get the chance to ride behind one of the miniature engines!
Some Big Boys Toys too! The full size machines...
    • "Louise" will be there representing the steam rollers.
    • "Pedler" a Wallis Expansion Traction Engine
And in the old Goods Shed...
    • Toy Steam
    • Model Engineering Stands from GEC MES
      and Nuneaton MES
    • 16mm Live Steam Model Railway
    • Catering
We do hope you can join us for a steam-filled weekend, showing off engines modelled on those which operated in the days when steam ruled the roads, the fields and the rails.
To get the most from your visit, why not let the full size train take the strain and travel to the event from either Shackerstone or Shenton stations?
