    Folks,

I am seeking peoples' advice/experience regarding tender wheel profiles for three axle tenders.

Is it customary to use a different profile for the middle wheelset , e.g. P9, with P1 on the Leading and Trailing wheels?

Any words of wisdom greatfully received.

    Thanks
    James

P1 on all sets. The intermediate (middle) axles on most tenders have increased provision for side play so there should be no need to reduce the flange to P9 on that wheelset.
