The S&CR are proud to announce their "Return to Cricklade appeal" has been re-launched with Phase 1 going live today!

The prospectus and further information can be found at the below link:

    https://swindon-cricklade-railway.org/future-projects/

We need £100,000 to complete the first phase of the appeal, which will help us lay track to North Meadow Farm Crossing. Funding elements are as follows:

    Base Ballast - £70,000
    Boundary Fencing - £10,000
Lineside Clearance and Drainage - £15,000
Trackbed preparation and grading - £5,000

A tonne of ballast will cost us £25, so every donation large of small will help us lay another yard of track.

How can you donate? You can donate four ways -
    1) Via the "BigGive" https://www.thebiggive.org.uk/s/campaign?cId=a051r00001FSf43AAD

    2) Use an appeal envelope found on site at the Railway.

    3) Make a one off donation to our bank account (details in the prospectus).

    4) Become a regular supporter of the campaign and have your name immortalised on a plaque to be installed at Cricklade Station! (details in the prospectus.

If you require any more information, please feel free to ask and i would be happy to discuss further.

The S&CR are looking for corporate sponsors to help drive this project also and will have a dedicated "Sponsors" board at Blunsdon Station.

    Many thanks

    Allan
