No sign of any times for this run on 11th December. Cannot see anything on realtime for the Fives to move to Peterborough and on the Steam Dreams website the pickup times for passengers is no longer shown. Anyone on it?

I am not on this one,but the lateness of timings is not at all unusual at the moment - they will probably come through tomorrow. The trip is still bookable on the SD website so has presumably not been cancelled. Have you asked SD what is going on?

The trip is still running although I'm not on duty on this one but will be sparing a thought for the guys as it's a monumental day involved for the suppot crew as well as the engines.

That's the turning move obviously. So yet another tour where those at the back at the beginning will be at the back all day. Saves some l/e mileage I suppose.

Yep, says on SD website that it'll be diesel hauled from London to Peterborough on the return.

Thank you for that info, saves me a late night at Peterborough only to find a Diesel on platform. RealTimeTrains doesn't tell you that.

I didn't actually look at the SD website at first, I looked at the return ECS which is timed for 95mph rather than 50mph like the outward.

Now, can I be bothered to wander down the station at 4.30am on Thursday to see the ECS head north....?

Ah well spotted you, 95mph. I found the move and made an assumption, missed that totally. I won't be there for the departure in the morning!!

I wouldn't. Box on the front with the 5s on the back surely?

Not so bad here - we can wander round the corner to Shelford station and catch some breakfast steam action - perfectly timed such that my son can see them too before he goes to school :)
