    We have indeed!

More infrastructure changes but I think what you are thinking about will be on a bogie wagon in a siding off the turntable in the Grain Store.

Thanks Henry, I look forward to seeing it running with #19. I imagine the boiler needs a fair amount of work!

I'm going on Saturday, really looking forward to making my second visit. Hopefully I might get to see the O&K diesel working too, after we lost out on bidding for it at Durley to Mr. Lee!

    You will indeed!

It will be working in the garden around the lake.

The other 16 steam locos will all be occupied on the main line :)

Excellent! I'll have to have a look at that then, only seen it working once! Looked interesting to drive too, I remember the controls still having their German labels on

Many thanks to all of the Statfold Team for another excellent day on Saturday.
Non stop action and a brilliant atmosphere as always, and much more co-operative in the weather department this time!
The Davenport and Baldwins look like a bit of a challenge but will no doubt emerge in pristine condition in due course.

There was some pub discussion on the way home was around whether 16 locos in steam and working at one location was a record in UK NG preservation.
It's probably been exceeded on Standard Gauge (Rocket 150, Railfest? etc.) but none of us could recall that many on a narrow gauge line, the only possible exception being the FR Hunslet Hundred Gala.

Unless of course, somebody knows different......

Another great day at the SBR, the weather co-operated. Many thanks to the team for putting on such a wonderful show. As I missed the first open day because of the weather this was my first sight of the new running line, new coaches. Highlight of the day Mr Lee on the Mallet! Whatever next?

I believe it is the only railway that can muster this many in the UK at the moment.... and remember, there was one steamable loco not steamed and also another visiting the top left hand corner of Wales.. and non of the 16 were visiting loco's.
    Pretty impressive.....

First ever visit to this amazing site. Had a great day exploring the impressive facilities, beautiful grounds and extensive collection that finds it's home here. The line up sports cars was an unexpected surprise! This certainly won't be our last visit and I look forward to watching it develop further.
