Spring Steam Gala at Shildon - with added "Morayshire"!

    Just when you thought she was going back to Bo'ness...we present

    SPRING STEAM GALA
    Preview day: Saturday May 2
    Main event: Sunday May 3 and Monday May 4, 2015

    Locomotion’s Spring Gala 2015 will have an ‘East Coast Express’ theme:
    • NER 1621, Stirling Single No. 1, GNR C1 No. 251, and LNER V2 4771 Green Arrow will all be on the display apron
    • D49 Morayshire will be in steam for cab access and demonstration movements
    • FR20 will be in steam for passenger train services
    Saturday May 2 will be a preview day – no trade stands or train rides available, but the opportunity to see the locomotives being prepared for the event, and locomotive line ups during the day on the sidings for photographic opportunities.
    Trade stands and train rides will be available on Sunday May 3 and Sunday May 4.

    Morayshire has now landed - we believe that this is likely to be her last appearance South of the Border in BR black. Be good to see folks over the weekend.

    Can't visit this one - as I'm in the NorthWest Corner of Wales, visiting my 96yr old Dad. And a few local attractions ...........
