Nice shots there Dave, just out of interest how do you get to the field at Groombridge (assuming you don't object to giving away your trade secrets!)?

    Hi Chris

Yes just to add what Paul said, before you drive over the bridge for Groombridge Station there is a close on the left called Lealands Close. Just opposite this is a drive track to some houses where a public fp runs adjcent. If you walk down here and follow the path through about two fields you'll then see the railway line, it's probably about a 10/15 minute walk.

    Cheers

Thanks for the video, I'd love to see the Spa Valley get another Std 4 Tank to visit again soon for a gala as that type of loco would be ideal for the line.

David - It's definitely back on our radars at the SVR for the future. Especially as Eridge is now open. Watch this space is all I can say.

Glad everyone enjoyed the gala weekend. I must apologise it wasn't up to our usual frenzied standards but with not knowing how well the Eridge extension would work, we went with something that was simple but also varied. Hopefully you all had fun and we can now build on it for future events.

    Matt
