    I think one is supposed to be LNER, judging by what they say on the website.
    Although..... I'm more interested in how many rather what.

    Pendennis Castle would make sense.

    I'd say they'd keep that back for the ASG as the star guest, could be wrong, either way it will draw the crowds.

    Why not both? It could stay over for the summer that way.

    Not sure they need an extra loco for the limited services they're rumoured to be running this year, the home fleet should be more than sufficient. The only place I can think of as a likely destination for 4079 this Summer is Toddington given they're hiring in 75014 as early season cover.

    Presumably if they're stating on their website the following;

    That means logically it'll almost certainly be an LNER and an LMS visitor? Neither are currently represented on the line, whereas the other two are.

    Ex-LMR 43106 is still in ticket until July. It was built in Darlington but I don’t think it can rightfully claim to be both though!

    I'm trying to think of LMS and LNER-liveried locos and I'm drawing blanks. Surely, 6233 won't produce.

    Mayflower although with British Railways on the tender is a possible visitor, would look good with the teaks.

    5428 Eric Treacy is LMS liveried, and so is 5025.

    Where has the SVR said that visitors will be in LMS or LNER liveries? As I understand it the aim is to have locos from both companies running at the event.

    I see that the previous mention of LMS & LNER designs has been removed from the gala page on the SVR's website, the news article for 4079's guest appearance hinting at a GWR-themed event...

    If you've been paying attention you'll be surprised that there's as many as two.
