Just for reference, a 2-day ticket is still a saving over an evening ticket + a day rover.

Is that the same Bluebell that will be welcoming 21c127 to their Giants of Steam event next month?

Just done a few 12 hour shifts on the bounce, so quite possible I've turned two pages at once, but can I just confirm that your argument about authentic liveries hinges on the shining example that is the KWVR, with their red Ivatt?

Moving back on the gala subject.

41312 and 2253 "Omaha" left their home lines yesterday.

All locos face the correct way except 2253 Omaha. Was delivered north facing, vice south so options will now have to be looked at for turning it, as the ideal is to have it south facing for its BH-KR goods on Sunday.

Logic would suggest to remain North facing for Friday, turn between 0805-1030 Saturday AM when at KR but it could be done at other times. Will try let people know as and when a plan is made

Other than that everything is in place and good to go….

LNER set is 6 teaks plus B&C MK1 due to lack of serviceable teaks.

Rest of sets pretty well uniform rakes. Small shuttle formed of 2 is 1 MK1 & 1 LMS coach

If you are driving to the SVR today, be careful of the ticket machines. They default to a payment of £1 rather than the all day rate of £4. You have to press the blue buttons, to raise it to £4 and you may find it offering £ 2 or £3 before you get there.
Why we can't have just the very reasonable £4 rate we had until about a year ago I can't imagine. I managed OK yesterday at Kidderminster and today, but it's certainly causing confusion.
Also, Bewdley Station car park is looking very full already .
