Severn Valley: Amended timetable, 3rd March.

    Due to a shortage of available steam motive power, timetable A is being amended. The 12-20 Kidderminster departure and the 2-00 Bridgnorth departure on Sunday are being combined with the dining service, leaving Kidderminster at 12-45, and Bridgnorth at 2-40.

    The situation has been brought about by the failure of 34053 with a broken cylinder cover, and 5164 away at the Mid-Hants gala, leaving just 1501 and 2857 available.

    However, assuming nothing further happens to disrupt matters, it does hold out the prospect of the GW 2-8-0 on load 10, which should give it a bit of a workout!

    And sadly "anything else" has happened, so best to check with the railway first if you intend travelling on Sunday 3rd.

    Edit: Update, services WILL run from Kidderminster to the previously mentioned amended timetable on Sunday.
