Seeing yourself in a photo in a mag

    Don't think I have seen myself in a published photo before, but it must happen from time to time.

    Anyway, page 92 of latest edition (100) top photo, Mrs. S. is in the green jacket by the lamp & seat on the left, and I'm the figure just seen as dark hair & dark jacket at the bottom of the photo, and this looks like the photo I took:-

    You can see the person on the left in the red jacket in both photos.

    How poor my early digital photos are in comparison with todays, never mind.

    I've appeared in SR and HR when the Strathspey Railway opened its extension to Broomhill in 2002. I was on the footplate of 46512 on the first trains.

    I appeared in the FR magazine two issues ago standing beside Blanche talking to the fireman before going for a trip up the line on her. You can tell that I'm Scottish: shirt sleeves in the middle of November!

    ive been ever so close in steam railway and the doncasters railway legends paperback, with a picture of an 8f going through doncaster, im juts out of the picture. although i had a comment on my one of my pictures once saying he recognised himself. i had a look at his pictures and i saw my dad.

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Never appeared in the mags but I have been on a few DVD's and videos. One is Black Five/Green Train, a film by Main Line Steam Movies. I appear several times in my Bright red jacket on tours with 45407 and 31625.
