    Heard today that royal Scot court fire while it was on the back of the lowloader on the M6. THe fire was that hot it melted the white metal out of the axle boxes.

    Also just to clear it up, 6100 did not catch fire, a tyre or tyres on the low loader did causing a small amount of damage to the loco, and it was on the M5.
