Rebuilding SEPTA PCC Cars

    A short piece off CBS News about the rebuilding works being undertaken on the late 1940's PCC cars normally used on Route 15 in Philadelphia.....

    The work undertaken may be considered "preservation", but that route is a normal service that just happens to use rather elderly cars - just like the Ashmont to Mattapan line in Boston.

    While you can end up with Triggers Broom, building anything has a significant environmental impact so to a point the longer they stay running the better
