    Here are 36 photos of this excellent museum (which is next to Coatbridge Central station).

    It is rather like Beamish, with a coal mine which you can visit and houses furnished for different periods.

    There is a replica of an iron canal boat built in 1819, kept on part of the original Monkland Canal. There are also four trams and a number of industrial locos - and a Garratt repatriated from South Africa!
