    I have put together an album of photos of early British steam locos. It includes original survivors and modern replicas. It also includes early locos exported from Britain - there are photos of survivors and replicas in France, Germany, India, Ireland and the USA. I think I have covered most locos, though I have yet to photograph Invicta (1829) at Canterbury and the replica of Trevithick's Coalbrookdale loco at the Ironbridge Gorge museum, where it is currently dismantled.

    Very cool.

    it would be interesting to build a full list of what survives from that period, for example others including De Arend etc.
