I have been given quite a large number of technical drawings of proposed PWay installations in various stations of the Gloucester area.

This is a typical example. Many just show a turnout. They date from the 1920s to 1951. They are dated, and signed off by an engineer. To cite a few locations:

    Worcester SH
    Over Jcn
    Charlton Kings
    Gloucester
    Lydney
    Berkeley Road
    Fernhill Heath
    Droitwich Spa Stoke Works branch
    Brimscombe
    Ashperton
    Serridge
    etc etc etc

Really from all over the area. I imagine they were for the use of a relaying team on site. I've scanned in the first 25 or so, then came to realise that there are so many that I would be drowned out in unfurled drawings if I kept on unrolling them.

The bag of drawings was found in a garage, and given to me.

I don't really know if there is a collector's interest for this. Ideally I would like to dispose of them for the benefit of the GWSR. Does anyone have any bright ideas?

Or should I throw them away?

There is a facebook group for British Railway Maps and Diagrams - could offer for sale there?

    Hi there

I'm a Trustee for the Dean Forest Railway Society and Dean Forest Railway Museum, we'd happily take these off your hands.

    All the best

Just to say the sack full of PWay drawings have found a very suitable home on the Dean Forest Railway and its excellent museum. Thanks, Adam!
