Sunday the 4th October is a date for your diary, as it is the West Lancashire Light Railway’s annual ‘Industrial Day’, with special visitor ‘Sragi No 1’ Krass 4045 of 1899 – from Statfold Barn Railway

The event is for One Day only, and will feature ‘Sragi’ along with all the available steam locomotives from the West Lanc’s fleet together with many of the Diesel locomotives not normally seen out on the mainline will be
    Performing with Goods Trains

The Fun starts at 12.00 until 4.30pm and the timetable will feature as many variations of train and locomotive as possible throughout the day.

In addition it is hoped that there will be visiting vehicle and traction engines on display.

Don’t miss this last opportunity in 2009 to see multiple locos in operation at the West Lancs Light Railway at Hesketh Bank – See website www.westlancs.org for further details
