If I may be permitted a personal moment, I'd like to take the opportunity to congratulate Helen Ashby, Head of Knowledge & Collections and my line mnager on her being awarded the OBE for services to Heritage.

    Cheers
    Anthony

As a poster collector, which has represented a fair proportion of her work, you would only expect me to second that - Well done Lass!

Many congratulations to Helen whose knowledge and work-rate often seems to be over-looked; more personal question - ASR time coming up ?

Good, thanks for passing that on Anthony, it's good to see the NRM's great work being recognised officially.

I don't know what happened here, but I did try two days ago to offer congrats to Helen

Her forte has always been publicity and posters and it is good to see her receiving recognition

    Congrats to Helen indeed!

However, "Sir" Anthony Coulls has rather a nice ring to it......

Id like to be made a Baron!

More people need to be rewarded for their work they do for keeping the traditions of railways going and documented. More praise for the NRM and its outstations is long overdue from a nation whos past is forgotten because we dare not take pride in some of the great achivements we have made.
