    Does anyone on these pages have an update as to how progress is going on the new build B17?

    perhaps Impala can help???

    It doesn't contain a lot of information about how things are going though.

    I heard on Saturday that they have enough money for the frames... not sure how true that is though? and that they now have drawings of B17s at the NRM

    No I do not currently volunteer
    Last I heard they built the cab but then I think it got damaged. And that they managed to secure a tender frame. Which is being built first the non working one or the working one.

    Yes the cab got damaged when strong winds blew it over in the yard at Weybourne NNR, i heard that the static one is being built first? again not sure how true it is?

    Well if my project included both a static and a working model, I sure wouldn't build the real thing first, if I could find out at least some of the unknown pitfalls on the dummy.

    However, at least if you built the 'real one' first then if you ran out of money on the 'static' then it wouldn't matter as much??
