In my case sadly no as family commitments took over although we did get to wythall bus museum !

Hope the event went well . Like the idea very much and must try and come and see the growing swanwick station . Out of interest does the society have and MR ridge and Furrow canopy and any plans to erect it

also as an idea would the MRT consider a double track line between Butterley and Swanwick

Perhaps I can add a further question to those posed above by Martin: Is there still a long-term aim of building a terminus station at Pye Bridge? Or at least, is the trackbed still available?
Trying to recall the layout from my 1960's visits to Pye Bridge, I assume that MRB would use what was the goods yard on the Western side of the MML.

Yes, was there for a good part of Monday's action, film in the pipe line. 9F, vintage and goods rake were the stars for me, only down side was the Duchess always played second fiddle to something else. including a diesel.

    Hi,

6233 has to be top and tailed. Unfortunately the easiest way of swapping engines was by double heading to Hammersmith and running the leading locomotive round there.

Glad you enjoyed it however, and look forward to seeing the video!
