If you’re going to try something new, you may as well do it in style – and the Mid-Norfolk Railway’s first ever photographic charter is to feature the top link LMS power of No. 46233 Duchess of Sutherland and No. 46100 Royal Scot.

The after-dark shoot at Dereham station on June 24 will place the two engines in various poses and suitably lit, along with ‘94XX’ 0-6-0PT No. 9466.

25 places are available at £45 each – to book your place email Martin Creese of 30742 Charters at mail.30742@btinternet.com

It is part of the MNR’s summer Steam Gala of June 24-26, which reunites Duchess of Sutherland and Royal Scot for their first period of operation together since the early 1970s, when they were based at nearby Bressingham. See http://www.mnr.org.uk/events/steam-gala-weekend-2-2016-06-24/ for details.
