    MET 150: THE DEFINITIVE FEATURE
As media partners with London Transport Museum, Heritage Railway and our sister title The Railway Magazine have been bringing you the latest on the ground-breaking and inspirational project to return steam-hauled passenger trains to the tube tunnels to launch the 150th anniversary celebrations of London Underground.
In Heritage Railway issue 172, on sale today (Thursday January 17), there is a special feature, London’s Steam Olympics, which both takes the story up to and including the January 10 final test train with the complete teak set, and gives details of a host of special events big and small throughout 2013.
The second part of the feature, London’s Steam Olympics: the perfect day, brings the story up to date, with full coverage of the first public trains on Sunday January 13, the VIP special, accompanied by a host of pictures (some from our superb Facebook contributors) exclusive videos and links to other key relevant sites. It can be read on our live news website The complete steam news magazine Heritage Railway Magazine
So buy the magazine, then is it the website, and get the whole picture, exclusively to Heritage Railway!
