    Hi all,

Anybody on this forum going to be on this trip?

I'm booked into what would of been Super Standard until they changed the classes so if you happen to be in the first/last coach feel free to say hello, there are 4 of us in our party with 3 of us wearing glasses! I'm the balding gray looking one!
Intend on updating on here throughout the day as to our progress.

    Cheers everyone.

    Phil

The times were posted on one of the many Yahoo groups earlier this week. I'll have a look and try and find them again.

Just thinking about this trip and sparing a thought for the crew and stewards aboard this special...04:40 Thursday off Southall - due back at 01:45 Friday...anybody know if any of the crew or stewards are likely to have done the full stint?

    Hi,
Tornado passed Thurston at 0930 approx. Managed to take photo from the top of my (not Network Rail) semaphore signal beside the railway west of Thurston station. Anyone see this madman perched up at signal?! Have a good trip everyone.
    Regards

    Martin

Two shots of this tour, first one northbound passing the rapeseed near Hambleton, LINK

Absolute monsoon just after "Tornado" left York, hence dull shot, 10mins. later sunshine and blue skies, hey ho! LINK
