    I have posted this elsewhere but this seems a better forum to post it in. I'm looking into making up the old station sign that used to be in the village where I live (above). The line was Midland and Great Northern, similar to the sign below. I've got at least two black and white photos of it but nothing of the sign, station or line exists any more. I'm a pretty capable DIY carpenter but does anyone know how the letters are created or what materials used?
