Locos at Swanage this week?

Any idea what might be working at Swanage this week? The excellent website is unusually silent on this matter as far as I can see! I've got some unexpected time off!!

 

6695 and 80104 are in traffic this week with D6515 (33012) working the Bistro on Friday Night.
The following week, 80104 and 53 are in traffic

80104 and 53 were out on Thursday, 6695 was in front of the shed and Manston, minus tender, was in the shed when I visited

 

80104 and 53 are in at the moment although 6695 will be replacing 80104 in the coming days as 80104 is due a washout before the gala

Swanage Railway is pleased to announce that from tomorrow : Wednesday 31st until Sunday the 4th we will be running our resident class 33 no.33111 and 3 CIG unit in the DMU path.
Steam loco is traffic is 6695 until Saturday with 34028 Eddystone making its first appearance since June on Sunday 4th. 34028 will then remain in traffic until after the steam gala.

Ah good, so that means I have '95 on Saturday and Eddystone on Sunday. Happy days!

 

As I'm unexpectedly free this weekend, 31st March / 1st April, I'll probably head down to the seaside. I'd really appreciate any information about which locos to expect - I believe its one steam and one diesel? Many thanks!

 

....and what about Easter weekend? Anything decided yet?

Thanks for the info. My circumstances changed unexpectedly so that I wasn't free this weekend, but have got 4 days off next weekend instead, so 34028 & 6695 here I come!

 

6695 failed this afternoon with D6515 taking over its train for one trip. 53 then put the dining train away and took over the service train for the last trip.

6695 will be looked at tomorrow, watch this space.

34028 is in traffic over easter....the second loco is undecided as yet, we will have to see how 6695 is. Don't worry its nothing serious!

53 enters traffic again tomorrow on service train duties.

 

Thanks for keeping me (and no doubt others) posted. I hope 6695 will be back in action by the Easter Weekend. Assuming it's nothing too serious, in order that I can plan to combine a ride on the trains with some photography, may I ask (1) which was 6695 currently faces? (2) Whether the recently restored Bulleid coach is likely to be in traffic ? (one reason why I would particularly like to have a ride on the line) and (3) whether the "Devon Belle" observation car is scheduled for use.

6695 is being worked on now, with any luck she will be back into traffic in the next couple of days.
53 remains in traffic.

6695 is facing Swanage.
34028 is facing Norden

The Bulleid coach is currently out of traffic, a few snags need sorting out and a final repaint and it will enter traffic, it will not be operating over the easter period.
The Devon Belle is going to be used over easter weekend in the B set.

 

Thank you again for the quick reply. Shame about the Bulleid coach. I'll be hoping that the Devon Belle coach ends up behind 6695, rather than coupled up immediately behind Eddystone when running smokebox first.

 

Because the sets swap each day, both locos will run with it for 2 days each
