Had a nice day out (despite the weather!) 'up north' to Shildon to visit Locomotion. Superb collection and museum, last time I visited the plans for the NRM building had only just been announced.

Is that a Tri-ang miniature railway loco in front of 1247?

 

It is...belonging to Darlington RPS and borrowed by me for display at Modern Traction Event!

 

Good to see 1247 is back with us.
