Now just by pure good luck I've booked a weekend in Lincoln for Mrs 4472 and me and will be there when 60007 arrives and departs.

I will only be able to get to the station area or close by and whilst attractive as a setting, I'm sure it will be busy. Any ides where I might get a good shot but within walking distance?

There's a multi storey car park just outside the west end of the station.
Each time we've been to Lincoln it looked to be well patronised by photters.

    hi 4472,
you could try the shot at homes on the main road with the cathedral in the back ground or on the station passing the old high street box (ticket to travel is needed as they do not sell platform tickets any more), or on the footbridge at the end of the station or on pelham bridge, the car park is best for departing from lincoln to doncaster, 60007 will also need to turn on the triangle at holmes. hope this is some help,
pm me if you want any more info.
