    The article on page 23 about 92203 contains an inaccurate date. The loco was withdrawn from Birkenhead on Monday 6th NOVEMBER 1967 after pulling the final Summers iron ore train.
    Mollington St. depot also closed to steam from this date & became a diesel depot.
    I only ever went back to the shed twice despite living locally. Once was in the early 80's to retrieve the shed's loco roster board & the other visit was when Blaster Bates demolished the coaling & ash plants in 1968 - what a character he was !

    The caption of photo on P81 of 43106 having just 'doubleheaded' with a Std 4-6-0 made me laugh, I wonder if the crew of the Ivatt noticed the 4-6-0 was not helping much ..... or if the crew of the 4-6-0 noticed that it had no motion ......
    (apart from that am quite enjoying the issue!)
