Just had a look for an update on this gala on the site. Excellent news that 2 Black fives the choice of Visiting Loco's this year as they're my favourite out of LMS engines. It's a decade since i last saw George stephenson in steam. Will the day rover fares be the same price as they usually are at galas?

Would have thought so, its usually £17/18 for an adult Rover ticket.

I cannot wait for this now. The Worth Valley hills will be reverberating to the bark of two of Stanier's finest. Congratulations and many thanks to the KWVR planning team for producing such a wonderful line-up.

Will there be any chance of the 2 visiting Black Fives double-head on the express train in the timetable??

Thanks Julian, I'm looking forward to my Saturday visit, and £17 is excellent value for a day ticket. I couldn't see the timetables, are they still to come?

The food sounds excellent! I know it's a long way off, but any chance of the same being done for the diesel gala? :) A nice hot breakfast would certainly make the camping more bearable!

Breakfast sounds excellent value. Not sure that my doctor would approve of the cholesterol content, but once in a while won't hurt!
