Kent & East Sussex Diesel Gala

    This weekend (26th/27th June) see's KESR's diesel gala. Guest loco will be Class 27 D5401, working along side Cl14 D9504 and the railways own Cl33 D6570. The Ford diesel will also be making a foray onto the line working an early morning & late afternoon tip on Saturday and shuttling between Northiam & Bodiam Sunday.
    Sunday also features a bus rally with vehicles operating routes from both Northiam and Tenterden.

    I see that OAP, he had to write what sort of traction he was working across his T-shirt so that he didn't inadverantly get on a steam loco!

    As I'm sure you well know Slash, I was the OAP. It was a bit warm on there as the engine runs very hot and both cabs have radiators heated with engine cooling water and they can't be isolated! James seemed happy to drive while being roasted so I let him.
