Although designed for War Service - the Hunslet 4-6-0T is a elegant design. Apedale have been busy since my last visit - a nascent water tower, the foundations for a new museum and plans for a southern extension. As ever the treat that is the ability to explore their what to do next collection. For those who have not visited before the railway is located in Newcastle - close to the A34.A500 and M6
