I've just been doing a bit of research into getting an LNER Guards hat badge...but I can't find any metal ones, does anybody know if the LNER actually did any, or if they just had cloth badges?

Just looked in the volunteer shop on the NNR volunteers website and they do sell them. They are dark blue. They don't appear to be in the normal online shop. If I can assist you in getting one I would be more than happy. I am up there on the 19th so could get you one and post it to you. I am in cambridge from the 19th Dec- 3rd Jan if you can collect. PM me if I can help. The badges are £6. Or you could give the office a ring and they may be able to help.
