I used to live a very short walk from the leas lift, and was overjoyed when it re opened, but this whole area is in dire need of re developement to bring the area up out of the slum it has become, for the owner to actually make good on his promise to redelevelop the sea front , So whilst i am saddened to read about this attack, i am not surprised, there are a lot of issues in folkestone that are in need of sorting out and a lot of people who have personal problems due to drink or drugs and turn to crime and petty theft
