    Hello everyone,

I am one of four founding members of a new museum which is currently being set up in Gloucester dedicated to the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company (1860-1986), the museum was formed in March 2016.

We currently have a large collection of small items relating to the company such as: wagon plates, map of the works, approximate0ely 10,000+ photographs from rolling stock to photographs of employees and the works.

We are now at the stage we are currently searching for our first item of rolling stock to purchase for the museum and we the museum were wondering if anyone here knows of any possible stock relating to the Gloucester Railway Carriage and Wagon Company which the owner/heritage railways may consider selling?

    Thank you in advance.

    Kindest regards,

    Aaron, Leo, Paul and Alan

There is an extremely rotten Class 100 DMU, 56317, in a hauliers yard which either needs saving or just putting out of its mysery. To be honest, most people by now don't really care which!
