    Evening,

In all of this talk of new builds, how would you find out if the drawings exist of your target class? I'm not (yet, at least) proposing to commission a J70, but I was wondering how you could find out about whether it's even remotely feasible?

    Many thanks

    Toby

The NRM have recently put most of their drawings catalogues online.
On the NRM website open Research & Archive, click on Our Archive & Library Collections, open Drawings & Papers from Railway Works and take it from there.
I recall that there are a large number of ex-GER loco drawings, called the Dupen Collection, held by the Great Eastern Railway Society.

Excellent, very many thanks. And no, were it to be built, it won't be in crimson lake. Sorry.
