Just lifted this off the GCR website:

"Star of the show will be Southern Railways King Arthur Class engine no 30777, "Sir Lamiel". It’s expected the timetable will feature three other steam engines including 8F no 48305, original GCR engine O4 no 63601 and Br Standard 2 no 78019. Diesel traction is hoped to include Class 27 D5401. They will run a combination of passenger services, freight services and postal drops."

If anyone is around on the Sunday I'll be signing copies of my latest book "Railway Series - The Great Central Railway" between 12-2 in the shop at Loughborough. Even if you're not after a book feel free to come and say hello!

Have to say it, timing! Tornado on NYMR gala and also this followed several other recent Gala's, would probably have pulled a lot more in if they have had the fairburn working. Should have opted for this comming week, not much on.
