Members of the Foxfield Railway continue to work on the Dilhorne Park to Foxfield Colliery Section - Foxfield Bank. Work continues in the yard, in recent weeks a NSR three way point has been the focus of attention. Materials have arrived to finish the platform facing and we are looking at ways of finishing the loco shed in order that a loco shed may be based on site.

Owners of Dubs 4101 crane tank have offred free use of the loco to the project, it is hoped to use the engine in anger in August to support push to open for passengers @ Easter 2011.

We are always looking for new members, the railways is doing well - but like all schemes of this nature could do better with more hands in all areas.

Visit the railway any weekend, quite often there is a Wednesday gang. We are a friendly bunch - one visit and you are "in" !.
