    What a machine!

Seems the NVR is clearing out a lot of its 'foreign' kit with the kriegslok having gone. Is there an intentional shift to a more UK-orientated image?

I think you'll find this is at Railworld and that's nowt to do with the NVR. The Kriegslok wasn't an NVR owned loco AFAIK but the private property of an airline pilot.

A dear departed friend had a lot to do with getting her to Railworld, he'd turn in his grave if he knew she was no longer wanted.

Ah ok, got it - was confused by the websites.

Just noticed the rather delightful Y7 railbus - my young lady's home town over in Sweden has a preserved line that operates 3 of those and a trailer car. Cool looking things.

Of limited use due to its height unfortunately. Interesting bit of kit.
