    heh! indeed - open-plan living with hot and cold running rats...

    It's certainly a spectacular space, but it doesn't look that practical, and a total sod to keep warm I should imagine...

    I'm just looking at £1m for 2 bedrooms in a questionable area, and with guaranteed noise and vibration.

    I had the horrifying image of living in one under an active line. I've been in enough breweries to know how unpleasant they can be in that instance. Theres a pair of arches remaining from the old Kirkcaldy Harbour branch that were up for rent recently but I don't think they had mains electricity or water. And some local scrotes started a fire outside them a month ago.
