Having been rather busy since the EVLR's steam gala last weekend I have only just got around to sorting out the photos and videos. Once again this year's event was most delightful with all operational locos in action, an intensive timetable and unsual movements. Although I was only able to stay for the morning due to other commitments I thoroughly enjoyed myself and would recomend the event, especially because fares are the same as on a normal operating day - £2.20 for a return trip!
Hope you enjoy the HD video, photos and article, as always comments, positive or negative, and pointers for improvement are most welcome, either by e-mail, PM or replying to this thread!

    * Is it just me or does the quality of this video seem a bit lower than some of my other HD videos? Please share what you think.

    Nice railway!

About your concerns over the quality, did you level your tripod before shooting? Everything else seems OK.

    Regards

I would like to say well done on the well produced film.

I run a DVD production company specializing in heritage transport and I can safely say that this footage could be used in a DVD production with minor professional adjustments
