We decided to make a visit to the Embsay & Bolton Abbey Railway which was holding a 'Thomas the Tank engine' weekend, not something we normally attend but seen as though they as so hard to come by these days we felt we would due to them having an intense timetable. It was a fantastic day out and i found loads of new spots for in the summer when the trains are running without their faces ;)

    Anyway in service was:
    'Monckton No.1'
    'Darfield No.1'
    D500

I've uploaded a couple of shots from yesterday, but there was tones of footage due to the intense timetable, more of which is available on our Spring Steam 2009 DVD.

Got to be my favourite footage of the weekend, it's a great little railway and I see you found some of the footpaths as well.

Bolton Abbey station is a gem.
