For those interested, locos are facing in the following direction as at today

45407 / 76079 / 47324 are facing South, thus boiler first from Rawtenstall

1370 / 80098 / 2183 / May all facing North, thus boiler first leaving Bury

45231 due back from Churnet Valley on Tues, so don't know which way that will be yet

ELR-based Peckett 0-4-0 no. 1370 returned to steam following restoration in 2008. The locomotive has local connections to our railway, as it was formerly based at Yates Duxbury Paper Mill at Heap Bridge in Bury, before being secured for preservation. Previously named ‘May’ the locomotive has NEVER hauled a passenger train … UNTIL NOW!

On Saturday 21 February, 1370 will operate a passenger train from Bury to Ramsbottom and return. The train will depart from Bury Bolton Street Station at 6.25pm and is due to return at approximately 8.00pm. Places on this train are strictly limited - don’t miss this unique opportunity to be on 1370’s first ever passenger train.

Fare: £10.00 per head - no concessions. Fares to be collected on the train and the operation of this train is in addition to the main steam weekend event. The steam department have worked very hard to organise this trip and if it is successful, we hope to repeat it at some stage in the future.

    Regards

Hughes fowler may I point out that the vast majority of photographers at Burrs will not be on ELR land. I would suggest that you change the wording of your post to donations gratefully accepted. I have no doubt that the vast majority will put into the pot.
It's all very well posting details of the "extras" for the steam event, but where are the details of the loco roster for both days?
