3 days at Talyllyn and 1 day at Cleethorpes, both Railways serve as a model example to how to run a railways with staff being helpful, friendly and providing excellent service, Despite mainly using the camcorder I managed to bag some good shots with my new camera (again!).

    Hi Kenneth,

Beautiful photos - many thanks for sharing. =D>

(However, I believe your Talyllyn captions which say "No. 6 Douglas (1918)" should be "No. 2 Dolgoch (1866)", which is now in red livery - used to be a light green colour - see here: http://kenneth-f-baker.fotopic.net/p57517794.html)

This reminds me that I really must visit the Talyllyn again soon - probably one of the best heritage railways in the UK, full of charm.

The CCLR (Cleethorpes Coast Light Railway) looks wonderful too! :)

You have some nice photos and I'm looking forward to seeing the video footage. You've even captured me driving Talyllyn in the first couple =D>.

I'd be interested to know where you took this (http://kenneth-f-baker.fotopic.net/p57517810.html) long-range shot from though?

The Easter weekend was excellent with good weather and busy trains; this was just what the Talyllyn needed and let's hope it continues throughout 2009.

The Footpath at Hendy Holt, , go over the bridge and to the next gate, there is a map on gate showing you a concession footpath, just walk two the next gate and then go up the hill, all of the top field is concession open access.
