    Hi

Just wondering if there is any news of the E1 at Cranmore?

The last I can find is that it was up for sale and a group/trust was possibly going to be formed from within the railway

Last I heard was that talks were still ongoing between the parties involved. There is definitely an interest to see it back in steam.

What state is the boiler in? In other words, if it is ropey (he prayed...) would it be possible to have a new Stroudley pattern boiler made and return her to what she should look like? After all, new boilers have been made for Terriers, and an E1 is only a bit bigger.

    We can but dream...
