The tour is delayed for a unknown amount of time due to watering issues at millerhill with the nah is supposedly only at 50%, and the loco is now over half way of what is needs to to get to Berwick

Reported that it is expected to be diesel piloted to Tyne Yard but no driver available. Getting to be farcical now. Got to have sympathy with those involved as none of this is the support crew/tour operators fault.

Yep. Pathfinder loves tours that turn into a mission. York to York - 15 hours would be a long day and you would have to have been an enthusiast to have booked from Sheffield. That said, this really was hard luck for all.

Just had a text virtually confirming 66056 is leaving the tour at TY. Although nothing can be guaranteed.

Gen "from the train", arrived Tyne Yard 22:35 (behind 66056); train due to go forward to York with 71000 solo (now setting down Durham 23:15) to York for presumed 67 to Sheffield.
