    Only two DC-4s are in passenger service anywhere in the world. Both are based at Rand airport, Johannesburg, along with four which are not operational.

    I was lucky to get a scheduled DC-4 flight with Air North from Dawson to Whitehorse as part of a flight back to UK... probably around 25 years ago... if i recall they had two or three DC-4s in use.
