Times here thanks to David:- t0606a.htm

Does anyone know what is likely to be hauling this?

Hi Neil , I am on this one and when I was talking to Gordon Hodgson at Crewe before the Citadel Express tour he hinted it will be 48151 and not Guardsman as I had hoped for. Regards Steve

As much as the 8F is a great loco, having travelled behind it more often than any other, I am nervous about making a booking this year. Looking at the Statesman website, 48151 isn't even in the pool, but 5690 is....? As far as I am aware, 5690 is being overhauled and won't be back for some time.

Thanks Steve, I'm not sure yet if I will get to go out, I have a list of jobs on at home but may at least get to Pleasington.

    Neil.

Get Leander back out and Galatea out the door Carnforth. I too love the 8f its one of those locomotive you can witness it's full track speed.

If Leander was not in overhaul at the moment it is unquestionable at what would be at the head end of the train.

Brilliant "gloom" shot at Selside - congratulations. You must have thought the weather had done you down, but in fact it has made the shot.

    48151 not passed Cumwhinton yet.

The unit which was due behind it has just passed on time.
