Anyone going to attend this event over the Xmas period. Let's hope the snow stays away for the next few weeks. This event keeps going from strength to strength every year.

Yep, Myself & a mate will be down on Boxing Day - if its as mad as last year it'll be a hoot, certain to blow away a few cobwebs!

Hopefully it wont be as cold as last year - that was bitter!

Looking forward to riding behind the Standard 5, assuming that it will be running the first train out of Arlesford.

The family will be down for this weather permitting. Had the best Beef stew I've tasted at last years event so hope they have it again! Hope to get some runs in behind the Black 5 but don't mind riding behind 73096 again.

Went to this yesterday. Lots of people in attendance and lots of people in period dress. A nice gathering of vehicles at Alresford too. 45379 and 73096 were in use on the two train service and we had runs behind both. 73096 seemed to be making hard work of the climb from Alton. Not herself for that run.
Spoke to a volunteer who said the MHR were not happy with the Council at Alresford as the overflow car park at Alresford was locked shut. We had to drive back to Medstead and park outside the station as the car park at Alresford station was full . The volunteer said they had lost a lot of money due to so many people turning round and going home again.
