Times are now in RTT for this tour:

It looks to me as though the hand-over from 61306 to 34067 takes place at Southall rather than Hanwell as indicated on UKsteam.info.

I'm in a real quandary about this one. I'd love to be able to video the change over at Southall, but getting a shot could be problematical. Getting Tangmere coming out of the shed will be easy, and getting Mayflower going back in will be easy, but anything else I suspect will happen under the bridge or the invisible (our difficult to get a shot anyway) side of the bridge.

Tangmere reported 5 late approaching Slough. Do we know if there is there a diesel at the rear? <BJ>

Here is my video, with Mayflower in charge at Ealing Broadway, then Tangmere at Slough:

Not even a hint of slipping from Tangmere despite such a heavy load getting away from Slough, impressive enginemanship!

Any particular reason for the Mayflower leg from Southend? Seems a bit of a pointless jolly, unless there's a gauging issue which would be a surprise?

Just looked on RTT. Has lost 46 minutes between Wootton Bassett Jcn (RT) & Swindon.
    Timed for 8 minutes.

Hope there is not a problem.

Edit, RTT hasn't updated since saying Swindon (approaching) 18:19 1/2.
Edit/2, Just seen on WNXX it looks like it has been involved in a SPAD at WB Junc.

    Latest goss from WANX:-

"Tangmere's driver or loco not to blame. Signal at fault. Signal SN43 is being treated as defective on the up main approach to Wootton Bassett Jn between Chippenham and Swindon"

Tangmere and Mayflower at Southall East Junction/ Goods Loop entry. Tangmeres entry onto the main line at Southall West Junction.

Would like to have filmed the loco change, but that took place right at the down end of the goods loop where there is very limited visual access

Would explain the continued delays still going on through the junction on RT
